Co-founded in 2020 by NHS doctors and a former Googler, the company integrates drones, ground robotics, and software automation into healthcare systems to make medical logistics invisible and intelligent. Currently operating the world's most prominent drone delivery service in central London for the NHS, Apian has successfully pioneered medical flights across the Solent, Northumberland, and Dublin.

By reducing delivery times from hours to minutes, the company is revolutionising how medical supplies and samples move through healthcare systems, ensuring clinicians have what they need in the right place at the right time, so they can focus entirely on patient care.

We spun out of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and our team now combines the knowledge of clinicians with experience in air traffic control, healthcare management, engineering simulation, product design and public policy. We’re loosely based in London, but work across the UK and beyond.
